Is your business visible
to AI search?
When someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI for a recommendation, it names two or three businesses. Answer 12 yes/no questions and find out whether yours is one of them — scored across the four pillars AI systems actually evaluate.
1 Entity & Facts
Can AI figure out who you are, what you do, and where?
Your business name, address, and phone number are identical everywhere they appear online.Website, Google Business Profile, directories, LinkedIn, socials.
Your homepage states plainly what you do and which area you serve — in the first screen."Custom AI agents for Central Florida businesses" beats "Welcome to our website."
A real person (founder or team) is named on the site with credentials.AI systems weight verifiable expertise — names, years, certifications, awards.
2 Structure & Schema
Is your site written in a language machines can quote?
Your pages include valid JSON-LD schema (Organization/LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ).Check any page at validator.schema.org.
Key pages open with a direct, quotable answer to the question they target.A 40–60 word answer an AI could lift verbatim, before the storytelling.
You publish an llms.txt file and AI crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot) can reach your site. Many hosts' anti-bot rules block AI crawlers silently — check your server logs, not just robots.txt.
3 Authority & Citations
Do third parties corroborate that you're real and good?
You have recent Google reviews (something new within the last 30 days) with owner responses.Review recency and velocity matter more than lifetime count.
Your business is listed consistently in the directories AI systems trust.Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Maps, Yelp, BBB, your chamber of commerce, industry directories.
You appear in at least one third-party article, list, or award you didn't write yourself."Best of" lists, local press, award pages — AI leans hard on independent mentions.
4 Local Signals
When the question is "near me," do you show up?
Your Google Business Profile is active: correct primary category, weekly posts, filled services. The GBP category is the single strongest local-pack signal.
Your site names the specific cities and areas you serve, on real pages (not just the footer).Service-area pages with substance, not thin duplicates.
You've actually asked an AI assistant your customers' questions and checked who it names."Best [your service] near [your city]" in ChatGPT and Perplexity. If you haven't looked, you don't know.
How the score works
The 12 questions map to the four pillars AI assistants weigh when deciding which businesses to name: whether your facts are consistent enough to trust (Entity), whether your site is structured so machines can quote it (Structure), whether independent sources corroborate you (Authority), and whether your local footprint matches local-intent questions (Local). Heavier-weighted questions are the ones we see move citations fastest for Central Florida clients. This is the same checklist Get Me Automated works through in a paid engagement — the self-assessment just tells you where to start.
